The company SHS Graphische Maschinen GmbH was founded in 1992 by the brothers Dirk and Thomas Heuchert, Ralf Streng and Jörg Slawik. Coinciding with the foundation a warehouse of 800 square meters was rented in Henstedt-Ulzburg. In 2006 the complete print shop Brünnler in Norderstedt was bought including the printing equipment and property. The warehouse with 2,500 square meters was required as business was increasing and the larger office space was always welcome. In 2013 the new co-CEO Till Mertens and Lukasz Silezin took over the shares of CAS as these withdrawed from the company SHS-CAS.

In 2014, the company SHS-CAS sold over 414 printing units, 42 guillotines, 14 folding machines and 58 other post- and pre-press machines. With pride we can assume that we, as far as the number of sold printing units is concerned, are the largest used machinery dealer in Europe .
